Training

LIFEBRIDGE North America is dedicated to providing the best possible training of its technology. We will provide the following 3-day training program with the purchase of a LIFEBRIDGE System.

1. Product Installation

The LIFEBRIDGE qualified Clinical Training Manager will check out the total LIFEBRIDGE system received by hospital to ensure that all components are received and ready for the first case. They will make sure, if necessary, that Biomedical Engineering has approved the system for use.

2. Didactic Presentation

The LIFEBRIDGE Clinical Training Manager will provide an approximate 2-hour PowerPoint presentation on the overall technology, how it is primed and managed. As many people can attend that might be interested in understanding the LIFEBRIDGE technology.

3. Hands On

We ask the hospital to identify those individuals that will actually be involved in the management of the LIFEBRIDGE device. Our preference is to break into groups of 3 for the hands on training portion. Small groups of 3 will allow each individual a complete hands on experience. We will train as many groups of 3 as necessary to make the hospital totally competent for the utilization of the technology. Our intention is to give each group of 3 a hands on course for 3 hours, 3 times over 3 days.

4. First Clinical Case Support

We will offer to provide a Clinical Training Manager to be present at the hospital for the first LIFEBRIDGE clinical case provided the case is:
• Elective - to give us time to participate
• Takes place within 4 weeks of the initial training program

5. Training Materials

Each hospital will receive a PowerPoint presentation and video of the training presentations for each department that is using the device.

6. Certificate of Participation

LIFEBRIDGE North America, Inc. will provide a "Certificate of Participation" in this Extracorporeal Life Support Training program for each individual going through the hands on sessions.

7. Emergency Hotline

There will be a toll free number to call 24/7 for emergency clinical and technical support.
